Puck Gear helps hockey players and parents buy skates that actually fit. The core of the site is a free skate size calculator that accounts for differences between brands and fit profiles, backed by plain-language guides on sizing, fit, and care.

Why it exists

Most sizing advice on the internet is a generic chart: subtract 1.5 from your shoe size, done. Real boots differ by brand, fit profile, and foot shape, and that gap is where bad purchases come from. Puck Gear aims to give the advice a knowledgeable shop employee would: specific, brand-aware, and honest about uncertainty.
