What Puck Gear Provides

Puck Gear is a free, browser-based tool that suggests hockey skate sizes and fit profiles based on the information you enter. It also publishes editorial guides on hockey equipment fit and sizing.

Everything on this site is informational. Puck Gear is not a retailer, a fitter, or a substitute for trying skates on in person before you buy. We do not sell, ship, or warranty any products.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The site, the calculator, and every piece of content on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Skate fit varies between individuals, between brand model years, and depending on heat molding and break-in. A recommendation from this site is a starting point for shopping, not a guarantee of fit.

You should always try skates on, lace them to full tension, and ideally have them fitted by a qualified hockey shop before purchase. For young players, professional fitting is strongly recommended given the role skates play in developing skating technique and ankle support.
